Fun Facts about Zendesk

Zendesk was founded in 2007 on a makeshift kitchen table in Copenhagen, Denmark. The founders, Mikkel Svane, Alexander Aghassipour, and Morten Primdahl, initially developed the software in Svane's loft.

Within a few months of launching, Zendesk had about 1,000 trial customers. The software gained popularity through word-of-mouth, especially among startups.

To secure venture capital funding, Zendesk moved to the United States. The company first relocated to Boston, Massachusetts, and later to San Francisco, California.
